Charlie, an adorable six-month-old pup, brought joy back into the lives of his human and her two young daughters after they suffered the loss of their elderly Golden Retriever. Charlie’s antics not only brightened their lives, but also the lives of the children in his owner’s daycare setting. In her application to Labrador Life Line, Charlie’s mom wrote that Charlie had the "heart of an angel and the courage of a United States soldier." Unfortunately, when she wrote to us her little yellow soldier was fighting for his life. He had a blockage caused by eating a baby diaper. Because Charlie’s owner is a single mom who lives paycheck to paycheck, she was desperate to find a way to pay for the surgery he needed to survive. Thanks to your support, however, Charlie’s blockage was successfully removed and he is now back home making everyone smile.
