Grace is a three year old black girl who's family gave her a home when her previous people were getting ready to turn her over to a shelter. When her new family took her to the vet to have her vaccinations brought up to date and to schedule her spay surgery they found that she was heartworm positive. A single income family, they simply did not have the financial resources to have the needed heartworm treatment, and bring her current on her vaccinations and have her altered and so they came to us for some assistance with the heartworm treatment.
