Callie is a three month old black puppy who was struck by a car while playing in the front yard with her owner - she chased a cat into the street. She was rushed to her regular vet who stabilized her and sent her on to the local emergency vet for immediate trauma treatment... her lungs were haemorrhaging and she required two nights of hospitalization. After her initial emergency treatment her people were informed that Callie’s leg was fractured at the growth plate just below the femoral ball and surgery would be required to fix her leg although she would always have a limp. Thanks to your support we were able to help with Callie's medical bills and she is recovering after her accident.
