Meet Dara Gates
I’m a native Washingtonian and currently live in Kingston, which is called "the little city by the sea". I’m a ferry ride from "civilization"’.
I have one chocolate lab named Hadassah... Hadassah means healing and Hadassah means hope. Hadassah came into my life 5 years after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. No greater companion, no greater friend.
I joined Labsr4u in 1999. I’ve been a nurse for nearly 27 years - 19 years have been spent as an operating room nurse. I enjoy writing, reading - especially mystery books, gardening, cooking, swimming and biking and I’m getting back into knitting.
